How Law Can Save the World: Eradicating Ecocide by Polly Higgins
Tuesday, February 11, 2014
In 2010 Polly Higgins proposed to the United Nations a law that will create a legal duty of care on all nations to prevent loss and damage to the planet on a global scale. The law of Ecocide creates the bridge to end the era of Ecocide and leave a very different type of legacy for our children. A legacy where people and planet are put first above profit. The one thing that can prevent this law being put in place is lack of support.
