FOE campaign for a NI Climate Change Act

The attached flyer is for an information evening FOE will be hosting on Wednesday 11 April at Derry Central Library. At this event we'll be discussing the campaign for a Climate Change Act, and specifically about a mass lobby of MLAs. The mass lobby itself will take place on Tuesday 8 May, at the Long Gallery in Stormont, from 4-6pm.

We need as many people as possible to write to/email their MLAs and persuade them to attend that event. We then need citizens to turn up on the day, meet with those MLAs and persuade them to sign a pledge of support for climate change legislation, if and when it is introduced to the Assembly.

Soon there will be a resource pack available on our website.

The aim is to build up a list of at least half the MLAs, in order to show that there is majority support for a strong carbon reduction law.
