New proposals for Common Fisheries Policy to be announced Wednesday
An amazing 691,000 people have already signed up to the Fish Fight, but THIS is the week when we need more support than ever.
The draft proposals for the new CFP will be published in Brussels at noon on Wednesday 13th July.
The world’s media will be there, and we want them to be dazzled by our interactive counter, whizzing up towards a million signatures.
This is another big chance to show how strongly people feel about the need to protect both our fish stocks and our fishermen’s livelihoods - before it's too late.
'Victory in ethical fishing fight'
As you may have seen, there’s been a lot of press this week claiming victory for the Fish Fight campaign.

Wednesday’s publication is just the first step in the reform process that will take another 18 months to complete.
That means there’s plenty of time for the politicians and decision makers to reject these proposals.
So it’s more important than ever to keep up the pressure, or this small victory could easily be lost.
