BBC Breathing Places, DCC Biodiversity, Creggan Country Park and Transition Derry come together to host an evening's workshop on biodiversity and sustainability.
Thursday 9th July 2009
6pm
Creggan Country Park
Come and join us for a bowl of soup, cup of tea and the chance to see the BBC film:
A Farm for the Future
In this beautiful and inspiring film, Rebecca Hoskins goes on a personal journey to learn about sustainable farming. The film has real relevance for urban as well as rural dwellers – for all of us who know we need to make changes to ensure our survival. The good news is that pioneering thinkers and practitioners have already been quietly showing the ways.
There will be a chance to discuss the issues raised by the film and to learn about the work of the organisations involved in the evening.
