healthy soil, healthy plants overview, making beds pruning & tree-planting, manures, planning plants, beds etc. maximising potential in small space, sowing & pricking out, weeding, pest control, harvesting & storing vegetables. Poly tunnels and any other veg /fruit related topic that people want

More Detailed Information
We will start at 10 with a cuppa a warm freshly baked scone and a chat . Stop for lunch for about an hour and finish about 4ish.
To prepare for the day
Bring two samples of the soil from your garden
A very rough sketch of your garden or a photo
A wish list of what you would like to achieve in your garden in relation to growing your own vegetables and fruit.
Also if you could try and figure out which way is south in your garden this will be helpful to you .
I am also going to run a seed/plant/gardening swap so if you have any seeds/plants/gardening stuff lying around bring them and exchange them for other seeds.....
IMPORTANT
This is a hands on course. I will be trying to spend as little time in the class room as possible, with the emphasis on being outside, so come prepared for the weather , some type of boots/sunhat essential.
Food Gardening and Fun
Bring your own lunch for Saturday.
Something to eat and drink towards a potluck communal vegetarian dinner for Sat evening.
A musical instrument or a poem or story ( Its acceptable to read them)
Something for breakfast . Basics supplied (Tea , coffee milk sugar, oil)
Surprise. Fun element to evening
