To prepare for the day
Bring two samples of the soil from your garden
A very rough sketch of your garden or a photo
A wish list of what you would like to achieve in your garden in relation to growing your own vegetables and fruit.
Also if you could try and figure out which way is south in your garden this will be helpful to you .
I am also going to run a seed/plant/gardening swap so if you have any seeds/plants/gardening stuff lying around bring them and exchange them for other seeds.....
This is a hands on course. I will be trying to spend as little time in the class room as possible, with the emphasis on being outside, so come prepared for the weather , some type of boots/sunhat essential.
