Bring along a waste free picnic
and get close to nature at this
free family fun day at Bay Road
Park Local Nature Reserve.
Learn about the wide range of
biodiversity, explore the
local wildlife and learn about
other environmental issues.

This event provides a great opportunity to get outside and have fun in your local nature reserve, with a wide range of activities including:

●  Waste free picnic;
●  Children’s composting workshop;
●  Bug hunt, butterfly, moth and wildflower guides ;
●  Treasure Hunt with Creggan Country Park;
●  Nest box building with CVNI;
●  RSPB will help to identify birds;
●  Bat identification with NW Bat Group;
●  Face painting of your favourite animal!
