Hedgerow Laying & Management Course

Derry City Council is hosting a Hedgerow Laying & Management Workshop. If you would like to learn how to select the ideal plants for a hedgerow, prepare the ground, the correct way to plant trees and ensure minimum maintenance, then sign up to get hands on experience and guidance to plant your own hedgerow!

This one day course will take place on Thursday 20^th January from 9:30 am to 4pm in the City of Derry Golf Club and Creggan Burn Park. Expert guidance will be provided by the Woodland Trust, on planning, planting and maintenance.  

This event is part of the ‘Do One Thing Project’, funded by the Northern Ireland Environment Agency and Derry City Council.
