Tsubo Shiatsu (Japanese pressure point massage)
Shiatsu (Shi = finger, Atsu = pressure) is a therapeutic treatment method aimed at enhancing the body’s self-curative abilities, eliminating fatigue and promoting physical and mental health through application of pressure to the surface of body using thumbs, fingers and palms.
There are about 400 Tsubo (pressure points) on the body and 20 meridians (paths inside the body of the life-energy / qi ) that connect most of the points. Once have you remembered the location and the function of each Tsubo (point), you will be able to ease pain and fatigue for yourself and for your family.
Tsubo Shiatsu is very popular in Japan and it’s given to young children, babies and even to pet animals!
