COP out - the struggle for climate justice continues
Well our campaigners have battled their way back from Copenhagen on snow-blighted trains.
We thought you might like to read
copenhagen.pdfsome more detail on the outcomes of Copenhagen, and what our campaigners have been doing.
Some of you have been taking part in our Copenhagen Action Alerts over the past fortnight. If so, thank you.
There's a final opportunity to take actionbefore we all take a well-earned rest over the Christmas break.
Ed Miliband, on behalf of the UK delegation, worked tirelessly to get an outcome from the Copenhagen talks. But the weak accord that he helped to get signed by a few countries won't stop a climate catastrophe and threatens the lives of millions.
Rich countries (including the UK) need to start pushing for a really strong, fair agreement. We need to
keep the pressure on.
We'll be back in touch in 2010, as soon as we know what's planned for the next stage of the negotiation process, but in the meantime don't forget to sign up for your regional gathering, where you'll have the chance to hear from our Copenhagen campaigners themselves, as well as updates on our other priority campaigns as we move into 2010.
Merry Christmas and good luck for 2010.
