Breathing Places - Fun-Filled Spaces @ St Columb's Park

'Play for a Change' are hosting a celebration day bringing children together from across the city and district to enjoy 'play' set within the context of a natural environment in St. Columb's Park.

Come along and celebrate St. Columb's Park Adventure Play Environment as a Breathing Place. As a BBC 'Breathing Places Community', Derry City is home to many new breathing places, providing spaces for people and wildlife.

You can sample Forest Schools and many more activities on the day including the Mad Hatters Tea Party, Bird Feeder Makingwith Conservation Volunteers Northern Ireland, Silk Flag Makingwith North West Carnival Initiative, squirrel trails and guided cycle tours and get a chance to meet Barney the Barn Owl and Cyril the Squirrel.

For all you younger CBeebies Green Balloon Club fans, there will be Nature Tales story telling and bug hunts.

Come along and learn how to 'Do One Thing' for nature.

This is a free event, with no alcohol permitted. Everyone is welcome.
