Where do you go to unplug from the daily demands, responsibilities and pressures of life?
There’s a growing collection of voices in the world calling people to take action, live differently,
and learn new behaviours that aren’t just based on our cheap and convenient Western
ways of being. Where do you go to engage with those issues, develop your thinking, and encounter
like‐minded souls to share your ideas and actions with?
For over 40 years Corrymeela has been creating ‘safe spaces’ for the people of Northern Ireland,
in particular, to do just that; to engage together in difficult conversations that open up
future possibilities.
Now in partnership with an emerging network – The 7th Generation Project – we have planned
a gathering to further conversation and promote partnership and action around human, environmental
and economic sustainability and resilience. We invite you to join us for a longweekend
in our dramatic coastal location to clear your head and engage in dialogue around a
shared sustainable future. We will gather from 10am on the 9th October until 2pm on the 11th
October at Corrymeela Ballycastle – a opposite Rathlin Island on the North Antrim coast. We
will be using the Open Space methodology. To attend costs £99 for three days including accommodation
