Tackling Peak Oil, Climate Change and Economic Breakdown

Fundraising Firewalk for Transition Inishowen

I am organising a fundraising firewalk for Transition Omagh on Saturday 23 October 2010, 7.30pm onwards, here at Greystone. There are 3 ways of participating:
a) get a minimum of £40 sponsorship and you can firewalk for free, or
b) pay the full fee of £40, or
c) sponsor someone else for £40 and come and observe the firewalk
The proceeds will be going to support the work of Transition Omagh, a registered charity working to help people to live more sustainably and to prepare for a future without cheap oil, so
community allotments, school gardens, community supported agriculture, food
cooperatives, herbal heritage, renewable energy, history and reminiscence, and
green building are all areas of interest. Their AGM is on Monday 13
September 2010 in Omagh Library at 7.30pm so if you want to know more, that's
the place to be.
As well as supporting Transition, you will be giving yourself a wonderful opportunity for healing and transformation. Imagine how you will feel about life after you have
successfully crossed hot coals! Look forward to seeing you there.
Best wishes
Katie
