Conor O Kane* will give a presentation on his work and be available to answer questions and give advice afterwards.

Conor O Kane is a self-employed horticultural consultant with fourteen years experience in community, wildlife and organic gardening, permaculture design and collaborative living and working environments.

For the past four years Conor has been primarily delivering the training and overseeing the planning and growing in Na Tithe Gloine, Gortahork – a beautiful eight acre seaside site in NW Donegal with a one-acre glass-house, six large polytunnels and a number of small gardens.

Conor has also run community gardening projects, one of which has been built, the other in construction this spring.

His main concerns are local food security, nutrient cycling and increasing local access to skills and knowledge about organic production.
